Tennis for Life Clinics
Our Tennis for Life Clinics have educated more than 50,000 guests to the terrific PBI teaching concepts. Sign up for every session, or pick a court and choose the aspects of your game that need the most attention.
It's hard to find a better tennis climate than beautiful Palm Desert! Cool evenings and gorgeous sunsets create a perfect companion to our warm days with nothing but sun, all filtered through our graceful palms. Even during the heat of summer, the mornings are perfect for a great tennis workout.
Wheelchair Tennis
PBI started wheelchair tennis in 1975, and then created a program at our resort in 1989. Every week, during the traditional tennis season, our instructors conduct special clinics for wheelchair-bound tennis enthusiasts where they are allowed up to two bounces. If you or someone you know is interested in wheelchair tennis, please contact us.
Lawn Games
In addition to enjoying a traditional tennis court experience, there is even more fun for the whole family here in Palm Desert. Our special Lawn Games provide another outlet for fun through croquet, badminton, horseshoes, lawn bowling , a putting green, and a half-court NCAA basketball setup. We also provide Frisbees, soccer balls and footballs for anyone to enjoy.
All this is just $10.00 per family, per day (free with guest's payment of our hotel's resort fee). Our equipment is available in the tennis shop on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Player Matching
Need a partner for a tennis game? We will make it happen! Even if it takes thirty phone calls, we will do it to find you a match. Give us at least 24-hour's notice and we will guarantee it. If we cannot find you a match, you can receive either a complimentary 30-minute private lesson or 30 minutes with our ball machine for on-court practice.
