Dallas Museum of Art

The museum, 3.4 miles from our Dallas Market Center hotel, contains more than 22,000 works of art from all cultures and time periods spanning 5,000 years of human creativity. Collections are constantly changed to keep museum goers coming back to see more.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

The natural history and science facility offers hands-on learning experiences for children of all ages. Five floors house 11 permanent exhibits as well as an auditorium, shop and café. The Perot is 3.3 miles from our Dallas suites hotel.

Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

Enjoy more than 66 acres of finely-manicured grounds with 19 named gardens. The arboretum is about 10.5 miles from our Dallas Market Center Hotel.

Nasher Sculpture Center

A collection of more than 300 modern and contemporary sculptures by such artists as Picasso, Matisse and Giacometti, the Nasher sits on 2.4 acres adjacent to the Dallas Museum of Art. The center, about 3.5 miles from our Dallas suite hotel, includes indoor gallery space, an auditorium, café and store.

Fair Park Dallas

Home to seven museums, the Leonhardt Lagoon and a large Ferris wheel, the cultural and entertainment center attracts more than seven million people a year - including those who attend the State Fair of Texas in the fall. Performance facilities include the Music Hall, Gexa Energy Pavilion, Band Shell and Cotton Bowl Stadium. The heart of Fair Park is about 7.5 miles from the Dallas suites hotel.

Dallas Zoo

With more than 2,000 animals on 106 acres, the zoo is the largest zoological park in Texas.  From elephants to giraffes, eagles to storks and snakes to tortoises, the zoo offers exhibits about six miles from our Dallas suites hotel.

George W. Bush Presidential Center

The 207,000-square-foot complex includes the presidential library and museum for President George W. Bush as well as the George W. Bush Policy Institute and offices for the George W. Bush Foundation. The center is on the campus of Southern Methodist University, about seven miles from our hotel.

The private university in Dallas is home to more than 12,000 students in eight degree-granting schools.

State Fair of Texas

The annual fair boasts an auto show, live entertainment, midway games, rides and tasty treats centered on the Red River Rivalry college football game between the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma.

Dallas Love Field

The facility serves commercial airlines and corporate user needs. The airport is about three miles from our Dallas suites hotel, which provides a free shuttle service to and from the transportation hub.

Dealey Plaza

The Dallas city park is the location of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. The area was named a National Historic Landmark and boasts monuments and statues to honor JFK. The plaza is about 3.5 miles from our hotel.

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center

Formerly the Dallas Convention Center, the facility hosts conferences, events, shows and more. The center is about four miles from the hotel.

JFK Memorial

The simple, concrete memorial with an "open tomb" design sits in the West End District of downtown Dallas and was created by architect Phillip Johnson.

Sixth Floor Museum

Housed in the former Texas School Book Depository building where Lee Harvey Oswald set up to shoot JFK, the museum features historic films, photos and artifacts from the day of the assassination.
