In partnership with the International Union of the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Sea Bees Diving, Marriott Resorts has developed the onsite Reef Education Center (PDF)
to educate guests about the ecosystem, marine life and proper reef etiquette.
A short swim from the House Reef, the center exposes visitors to the world living below the surface. Exhibits and activities encourage them to learn about the ecosystem. Visitors are also guided on how to act once they are in the water.
Photos from the reef showcase the animals who live there and help visitors identify what they've seen. So guests can get the most of out of their visit, a House Reef Marine Guide is emailed upon booking, and a hard copy is placed in each guest room.
