Fly Casting Instruction with Capt. Mark Benson
Professional fishing guide, USCG Licensed Captain and FFF Certified Casting Instructor, Mark Benson has over 40 years of fly fishing experience and shares his passion through fly casting instruction for beginner, intermediate or advanced casters. For those new to the sport, Mark introduces the fundamentals and principles of rod loading, line control and tip path in an easy to understand style. Intermediate instruction focuses on double hauling, windy day techniques, fish fighting philosophies and more. Advanced casters can learn to increase distance, practice specialty casts such as curve, roll, mends and spey or speed casting for moving targets.
Whether it's fishing for New Zealand brown trout, Appalachian brookies, Keys tarpon, Bahamian bonefish or Florida red-fish, snook and largemouth bass, Mark has been there and knows the techniques to make you a more successful fly angler.
As a pro-staffer for G. Loomis, Ross reels and Rio fly lines you'll be provided the very best in equipment if you choose to not bring your own to Orlando.
$75 per hour adults
Maximum five guests per session. Based on availability.
Outdoor clothing and footwear required. All excursions depart from The Ritz-Carlton Golf Clubhouse.
