Explore the 9/11 Memorial and Museum

Situated in the former location of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers and near our downtown hotel, the 9/11 Memorial remembers and honors those lost in the attacks of September 11, 2001. Designed by Michael Arad and Peter Walker, the site hosts two reflecting pools formed in the footprints of the Twin Towers.

The 9/11 Memorial Museum displays monumental artifacts linked to the events of 9/11 while presenting intimate stories of loss, compassion and recovery.

One World Observatory

Climb to the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and take in jaw-dropping views of Lower Manhattan and beyond at the Freedom Tower. Located on the top floors of One World Trade Center, One World Observatory boasts a variety of exhibits, dining and spectacular views. Open daily from 9am-8pm, guests ascend to the top by the Sky Pod Elevators to find Global Welcome Center.

Before stepping into the Main Observatory, be sure to experience the See Forever Theater, where guests watch an exciting two-minute video on the pulse NYC. Statue of Liberty

A gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and a universal symbol of freedom and democracy, the Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886 and designated as a National Monument in 1924.


Ellis Island

Location: Ferries Located in Battery ParkGuests visiting NYC should not miss a visit to historic Ellis Island, where 12 million immigrants entered the United States from 1892 to 1924. Today, over 100 million Americans can trace their ancestry to the immigrants who crossed this island before dispersing to points all over the country.
 

Seaglass Carousel

Location: Battery ParkSeaglass Carousel introduces art, architecture and music to children of all ages in Lower Manhattan. Located on the original destination of the New York Aquarium, the Seaglass Carousel is a mystical underwater experience created by The George Tsypin Opera Factory. Riders sit within iridescent fish that glide through the sights and sounds of a 360° aquatic adventure.


Governors Island

Governors Island is a 172-acre island in the heart of New York Harbor that hosts a variety of events, activities, concerts and exhibitions throughout the summer. Easily accessible by ferry and open to the public during the summer.

 


Charging Bull at Bowling Green

Location: Intersections of Broadway and Morris StreetSculpted by Arturo Di Modica, this 7,000 pound bronze "Charging Bull" mysteriously appeared one day in 1989 in front of the New York Stock Exchange. The sculpture rapidly became an urban legend and an international icon of Wall Street.

Oculus - World Trade Center Transportation Hub
