Located near City Hall, not far from our hotel, this park was designed by the famed urban planner Edmond Bacon (father of actor Kevin Bacon). Though its real name is John F. Kennedy Plaza, most people refer to the park by its nickname, "LOVE Park", due to its famous LOVE sculpture by Robert Indiana. Aside from photo opportunities, LOVE Park also features the Fairmount Park Welcome Center and a gift shop; it's also great spot to grab a bite to eat from some of Philadelphia's top food trucks.

Boathouse Row

Situated on the Schuylkill River, this National Historic Landmark consists of 10 charming boathouses. At night, glittering lights frame the buildings and make for perfect scenery as they reflect off of the river's surface. Boathouse Row has been associated with rowing since the 19th century, and the boat clubs that occupy them have produced many Olympic champions. It's definitely worth checking out while you're in Philadelphia.
