Mayo Clinic Hospital is the first hospital planned, designed and built by Mayo Clinic. Completed in the fall of 1998, the hospital was designed to deliver high-quality inpatient medical care in an efficient, friendly environment. The hospital is a seven-story facility with 268 licensed beds, 21 operating rooms and a Level II emergency department. Emergency room services are available 24 hours a day. Mayo Clinic Hospital serves patients from the surrounding area, as well as from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
