Guy Higa, our professional Kaua'i Beach Resort chef, has passion for flavor and freshness that has taken our Kaua'i resort dining experience to the next level. Overseeing all culinary operations at Lihue restaurants that include Kukui's on Kalapaki Beach, Duke's Canoe Club, Aupaka Terrace, and Toro Tei Sushi Bar, Higa strives to serve meals that guests will remember long after the dishes have been cleared. The chef currently heads a department of over 70 associates.
Higa brings an impressive amount of experience to our Kaua'i resort. Studying at the Westin Culinary Institute for Chefs and training with numerous experts, Higa has worked his way up the culinary ladder, starting as a dishwasher and working his way up to prep cook, sous chef and now executive chef.
