Executive Chef - Frank Gort
Originally from West Michigan, Chef Frank Gort was a member of the opening team at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids. Soon after, Frank moved to San Francisco joining the JW Marriott Union Square. The experience in San Francisco shaped his style of cooking - focused on local, seasonal ingredients, simply prepared. He was the Executive Chef at Marriott Pinnacle Downtown in Vancouver, where he focused on supporting an already strong culinary apprentice program and Growing Chefs, a children's program focused on urban agriculture. Now the Executive Chef at Chef at Cedar + Stone, Urban Table his menu offers refined, crafted dishes inspired by Minnesota's natural and local culture.
