Outrigger Canoe

Start your day with a guided outrigger canoe paddle. Go out into a wa'a (canoe), discover the colorful history of the land from passionate local guides. Daily times include 8am, 9:30am and 11am.

Sailing

Set off on a sailing adventure with our partner. Enjoy charter tours for sunset sails, whale watching, scenic tours with catamarans conveniently located right on Ka'anapali beach at the resort.

Surfing

Learn surfing techniques from paddling out and popping-up to reading the waves, and then go surfing. Situated on legendary Ka'anapali Beach, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa puts you close to the best surfing experiences in Maui, Hawaii.

Snorkeling

Pu'u Keka'a (Black Rock) is a great place to snorkel within walking distance of our hotel. You can also book a guided snorkeling adventure with our partner. Rentals are available at the pool towel desk.

Body Boarding

Hit the waves and enjoy body boarding waves at Ka'anapali Beach, Maui. Boards can be rented at the resort from the pool hale. Body boarding can be an equally exciting experience for kids and the young at heart.

There are so many beaches just a short shuttle ride or scenic drive away from the resort, including Kapalua Bay Beach, Airport Kahekili Beach, Baby "Pu'unoa" Beach, or Wailea Beach.

One of the best ways to connect with the land of Maui is through the fantastic natural playgrounds. Pack your car, hit the road, and start exploring Waihe'e Ridge Trail, Lao Valley, Twin Falls, and Haleakalā National Park.
